Wade has come to Carter + Burton in Berryville from Pennsylvania via Savannah College of Art and Design, in Savannah Georgia, where he earned his Bachelor of Architecture in 2012 as well as his Master of Architecture in 2013. His studies focused on site-specific architecture, tying his building designs into the context of its surroundings to create a beautifully interconnected space instead of simply an object in a landscape. He has studied abroad in Turkey, Greece, and Italy focusing on the architectural history and culture in each region.

Wade has a background of hands-on experience in a broad range of materials from masonry to woodworking. While not in the office, he loves to travel and put into our projects what he has learned both locally and internationally. You can also find him working on his wood lathe to create unique objects of art.
